The Neumann N-52 type power supply was made to be a "system" type of power supply. There would normally be 5 or 10 N-52's in a DIN (20" or so) standard rack for supplying any AC-701 type of microphone. They have a built in pattern control and 220 volt power supply. They slide into their steel cage mating with a 14 pin connector, and lock in place with a large locking arm.
